What is ASB? |

Anti-social behaviour (ASB) is defined by the Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014 as ‘acting in a manner that caused, or was likely to cause, harassment, alarm or distress to any persons.’ There are many different types of ASB, and they are often grouped into three main categories: Personal – when a person targets a specific individual or group Nuisance – when a person causes trouble, annoyance or suffering to a community Environmental – when a person’s actions affect the wider environment, such as public spaces or buildings For more advice and information regarding ASB, head to our website.
