Crime Alert - Burglary

Dear residents,

Humberside Police are investigating a report of a house burglary on Cromwell Road, Cleethorpes (Haverstoe Ward).

The incident occurred between 15:30 hours on Sunday 4th January 2026 and 15:30 hours Monday 5th January 2026. The offender(s) approached a ground floor window and smashed this with an object to gain entry inside the property. The intruder conducted an untidy search and is suspected to have stolen a quantity of cash and jewellery. 

If you have any CCTV footage (including video doorbell), saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area around this time which we believe from enquiries may be likely around 01:00-01:30 hours of Monday or have any information about the offenders please contact the police on the non-emergency number 101 quoting crime occurrence reference: 25*1864. Alternatively reply to the community alert if you have any information or CCTV of note and Police will speak to you. 

Please report any ongoing future suspicious activity via 999. You will see an increase in marked and unmarked patrols in the area by local and divisional patrols. Please if you have a burglar alarm ensure it is set and working and consider target hardening your properties with additional locks, lighting and CCTV.
