Crime Alert - Theft of a Vehicle

Humberside Police have become aware a series of vehicle thefts within the NORTH AXHOLME AREA specifically the Crowle and Ealand areas.

These incidents have occurred between the 30th of December and 2nd of January.

If you see anyone acting suspiciously in the area please contact the police on the non-emergency number 101 quoting occurrence. Or 999 if deemed a time sensitive crime in action.

To reduce the risk of your vehicle being stolen, please read through the below advice -

Keep your vehicle locked at all times

Make sure your vehicle alarm is set if it has one.

Consider using a steering wheel lock, we recommend Secured by Design accredited products.

Don't leave your keys or fobs where they can be easily found.

If your vehicle has keyless entry, use a faraday pouch to prevent a reply theft.

Park your vehicle in a garage if you can, or in a secure location.

If you have CCTV, park your vehicle where it will be covered.
