Final chance to have your say on police funding in Humberside |
||
|
Dear Resident,
The Police and Crime Commissioner for Humberside has a legal duty to ask local residents for their views before setting the policing element of Council Tax for the year ahead.
A couple of weeks ago, he asked if you could spare a few minutes to share your views to help shape police funding for 2026/27. I notice that you have not yet completed our survey and wanted to highlight to you that that your views are really important to the PCC and will make a difference.
This will be the final opportunity to voice your opinion in his survey, before it closes at the end of January.
The collective results will help the PCC inform how the police budget for 2026/27 is set, including decisions that affect officer numbers, visible policing, victim support and community safety.
This consultation is a statutory requirement, but it is also a genuine opportunity for you to influence how local policing is funded and prioritised. Your views matter and will be taken into account before any decision is made.
You can read his full statement explaining the funding options and what they would mean for local policing here.
Please take a few minutes to complete the survey and make your voice heard by clicking the button below.
