Crime Data for Humberston and New Waltham Wards: December 2025

Dear residents, I hope you had a lovely Christmas and Happy New Year to you all!

Please find crime data update for December 2025- I want to share and celebrate that last month was another generally positive low crime month across the wards which could not of been achieved without all the work of you the community, our partners and the local policing team do on a daily basis. 

Crime Headlines:

There were only thirty-three reported crimes across the Humberston & New Waltham Wards for December 2025. 

On 1st December 2025 a parcel was stolen from a doorstep at a residential address in Humberston. 

Between 21st December 2025 to 31st December 2025, two burglaries have taken place at a caravan holiday park in Humberston. A caravan has been damaged, entered and pedal cycles taken. 

On the evening of 24th December 2025, three linked assaults have taken place at a public house in Humberston. 

Our priorities moving forward in January/February 2026 period will be focusing on Shop Thefts and Anti-Social Behaviour. 

Other Crimes:                                                                                                                       
Four reports of low-level assaults.                                                                                                                           
Five reports of harassment.                                                                                                        
Three reports Criminal Damage. 
Five reported shop thefts from Tesco / Co-Op / Spar in New Waltham & Humberston.                                                                            

ASB:
There have been two reports of ASB incidents across both villages:
One report around noise nuisance disturbance on GREENLANDS AVENUE, NEW WALTHAM.
One report of illegal off-road motorbikes on PAVILLION WAY, NEW WALTHAM.

Your local Neighbourhood Policing Team appreciates the importance of being in the right place, at the right time, for the right reasons to reassure the public, improve public confidence and reduce crime and anti-social behaviour in the area in which we all live and work. We encourage all residents to call and report any issues where they live so that we can deal with any issues and step up our patrols in the area. The number to call for non-emergency issues is 101.
