Drug search trained dog in Beverley & Cottingham.

Good afternoon 

Last night the local Neighbourhood Team & Special Constable's were out with Belle & her dog handler in Beverley & Cottingham. Belle is trained to identify controlled drugs & worked tirelessly in short stints between 8:30pm & midnight. Belle accompanied officers walking through the pubs and bars of the area in what was a busy night in the build up to Christmas.

Please be mindful, should you see a dog such as Belle working with their handler and Officers, as adorable as she is, do not try and 'pet' her, Belle is at work and will not respond to the affection. Likewise people being overly affectionate towards the highly trained Belle with controlled drugs on them will not put her off the scent!!

Hopefully we will soon see Belle on the streets of Beverley & Cottingham again soon!
