Dear residents, please find crime data update for October 2025- I want to share and celebrate that last month was another generally positive low crime month of YTD 2025 across the wards which could not of been achieved without all the work of you the community, our partners and the local policing team do on a daily basis. There were only forty five crimes reported to police in the Humberston & New Waltham Ward for September 2025. Crime Headlines: There were forty-five reported crimes across the Humberston & New Waltham Wards for October 2025. On 14th October 2025 a motorbike was stolen from an address on LINKS DRIVE, HUMBERSTON by unknown persons. On 31st October 2025 a windscreen to a motor vehicle was damaged by unknown persons on ALBERRY WAY, NEW WALTHAM. There were no reports of ASB in New Waltham or Humberston over Mischief night or Halloween which was supported by the local team as part of Op Topaz. Our priorities moving forward will be focusing on Burglary and Shop Thefts are we approach the festive winter period. Crime: Thirteen assaults. Six reports of harassment. Three reports of minor public order. Four shop thefts from the Co-Op. There have been ten reports of ASB incidents across both villages: Three reports of begging/vagrancy at Tesco Hewitt's Circus Two reports of Fireworks at Humberston Fitties One report of illegal off-road motorbikes on the fields next to Peaks Parkway Other reports of ASB between neighbours in New Waltham How you can help: Your local Neighbourhood Policing Team appreciates the importance of being in the right place, at the right time, for the right reasons to reassure the public, improve public confidence and reduce crime and anti-social behaviour in the area in which we all live and work. We encourage all residents to call and report any issues where they live so that we can deal with any issues and step up our patrols in the area. The number to call for non-emergency issues is 101.
