Help Keep Our Communities Safe This Bonfire Night 🎆

Dear Resident,

As it's Bonfire Night tonight and celebrations likely to go on to the weekend, we're urging everyone to take extra care with their bins and help prevent deliberate fires in our communities.

We've seen some shocking examples of what people are trying to burn and we’ve been putting up FireStoppers signs to raise awareness. You can also play a part by reporting fly-tipping to your local council.

Let’s work together to stop wheelie bins from being targeted in deliberate fires by following these steps:

✅ Store bins away from buildings, ideally in a secure location
✅ Avoid leaving bins out overnight or in public access areas
✅ Only put bins out on the morning of collection day
✅ Report any suspicious behaviour around bins or fires immediately
