#RuralTaskForce #Inyourcommunity #RuralCrime Last week the #RTF took part in the #OpAlliances national week of intensification. We focused on the disruption and detection of stolen vehicles and vehicle theft crime prevention. The week of action consisted of crime prevention visits with our #Countrywatch community, forensically marking agricultural vehicles with #SelectaDNA and #Datatag products and conducting partner working with a number of other agencies such as #EnvironmentAgency, #BorderForce and #NCATT. Results so far indicate that we seized 2 stolen vans, assisted our #LincsPolice and #NCATT colleagues in recovering a stolen mini excavator and marked over 25 items of agricultural property. We also successfully identified another stolen vehicle seized by our roads policing colleagues earlier in the week. We will continue to work with our partners to prevent crime, protect our communities and pursue those who come to Humberside to commit crime. |
