Bi-monthly Update |
||
Dear residents.
Below is the bi-monthly report for the months of August and September 2025, the ward had the following crimes/incidents reported:
Crime Burglary Offences: 8 Arson & Criminal Damage: 15 Vehicle Offences: 6 Robbery: 3 Drug related offences: 7 Weapon Offences: 1
Anti-social behaviour: ASB - Personal: 4 ASB - Nuisance: 21 ASB - Environmental: 4
The most recent Humber talking surveys showed that the areas of most concern for residents were the illegal use of motorcycles / electric bikes / quad bikes as well as drug dealing in the local area. This has driven our main priority to try and deal with this issue with one person detained riding a surron electric bike and he was also in possession of a large quantity and was arrested for both drugs and traffic offences. The surron bike was also seized. We have also arrested several persons for suspected drug dealing and will continue to prioritise this. We encourage any persons with any knowledge of persons riding such bikes including quad bikes to contact us using the link below. https://www.humberside.police.uk/ro/report/asb/asb-v3/report-antisocial-behaviour/
All intelligence received will be treated with confidence and your details never disclosed. When information is received about where it is happened allows the team to tailor our response and be in the right area at the right time. We have also targeted shop lifting within the local area and have arrested numerous prolific shop lifters who have been committing offences within our ward area. These shop lifters have been prosecuted and sentenced by the courts. All crime can also be reported anonymously via Crimestoppers if preferred at: https://crimestoppers-uk.org/give-information/forms/give-information-anonymously
We will provide another update in 2 months' time.
Best wishes,
The Longhill & Bilton Grange Neighbourhood Policing Team (part of the Hull East Communities Team). | ||
