Crime Alert - Theft of a motorbike |

Dear Resident,
Humberside Police are investigating a report of a Theft of a motorbike from McDonald's car park (adjacent to Morrison's) on Hilmore Lane, Grimsby. The bike was a black coloured Triumph Tiger 800.
The incident occurred at 13:15 on Friday 12/09/2025. The offenders are believed to be two juvenile males who approached the motorbike, broke the steering lock and then wheeled the bike away. The bike was wheeled through Laceby Acres (possibly through Collingwood Crescent onto Victory way and then Nelson Way onto Tonnant Way). The bike was abandoned in woodland near to the Green Bridge and was then recovered by officers soon after. Thankfully, the bike has now been reunited with the owner.
If you have any CCTV footage (including video doorbell), saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area around this time or have any information about the offenders please contact the police on the non-emergency number 101 quoting occurrence ref: 25*129630. Also, if you were driving in the area of Nelson Way, Tonnant Way or the general area between 13:15 - 13:45 hours on Friday 12/09/2025, then please check any dash cam footage. If you have captured the males pushing the bike in this area, then contact us via the above details, or simply respond to this alert by clicking the “reply” icon below.
