Further information comes to light following fatal collision near Preston

Officers continue to appeal for witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision on Lelley Road at its junction with the B1240 Sproatley Road near Preston on Monday, 25 August.

Thank you to all witnesses who have come forward so far and following initial enquiries, officers would like to specifically speak to the driver of what is described as a light-coloured car which is believed to have been travelling on Sproately Road from Preston. It is thought that the driver may have been travelling behind the motorcycle at the time of the collision, is likely to have witnessed the incident, and may have information crucial to the ongoing investigation.

Officers continue to appeal to anyone else who may have witnessed the collision, has any CCTV, dashcam footage or any information, no matter how small, which may assist in exploring new lines of enquiry to contact us on our non-emergency number 101 quoting log 215 of 25 August.
