Get to know your neighbourhood policing teams |
||
Nobody knows our communities better than our local policing teams We have today, Monday, 30 June, launched a dedicated campaign shining a spotlight on the work our Neighbourhood Policing Teams do across our communities. We’ll be bringing you exclusive interviews with our Neighbourhood Policing officers who have a wealth of experience and knowledge in working in the heart of our communities to make them a safe and enjoyable place to live. Not only this, but we will be showing the public what it really means to be an officer sitting at the heart of the neighbourhoods that make up our force area. The teams are made up of Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs), and Neighbourhood Beat Officers who also work closely with Special Constables, Community Cohesion officers, and other teams across our force conducting warrants, high visibility patrols, school visits, as well as a variety of community engagement activities such as HumberTalking, My Community Alert, surveys and much more to understand and listen to what’s important to our communities. Hear more from Assistant Chief Constable Mike Walker.
