Crime Data: New Waltham Ward Only: April 2025

Dear Resident,

 

As a result of your calls for service, the following crime data is for April 2025 for New Waltham Ward.

 

Crime

There were fifty-nine reported crimes across the Humberston & New Waltham Ward for April. Of these, the following have occurred in New Waltham. 

 

Vehicle Crime

  • Between 18th & 25th April, a car was reported stolen after it wasn’t returned following a hire agreement.                                                                                                                 
  • Criminal Damage

  • Damage was caused to a window at a property on Louth Road. 
  • Two reports of damage relating to the same domestic incident.
  •  

    Other crime include

  • Five assaults. 
  • Five reports of harassment. 
  • One minor public order offence.                                                                                                    
  •  

    Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB)

     

    There have been seventeen reports of ASB. These include:                                                                                            

  • Four reports of motorbikes being ridden illegally at various locations. 
  • Four reports of youths messing around with resident’s wheelie bins on St Clements Way & Greenlands Avenue. 
  • Two reports of youths causing issues on The Pavilion playing fields lighting fires and general nuisance. 
  • Youths smoking cannabis on Greenlands. 
  • Youths causing issues outside the Co-Op obstructing customers access / egress to / from the shop.                                                                    
  • How you can help  

    Your local Neighbourhood Policing Team appreciates the importance of being in the right place, at the right time, for the right reasons to reassure the public, improve public confidence and reduce crime and anti-social behaviour in the area in which we all live and work. We encourage all residents to call and report any issues where they live so that we can deal with any issues and step up our patrols in the area. The number to call for non-emergency issues is 101.
