Humberside Police are investigating a report of an attempt burglary on Ferry Road, Scunthorpe.

The incident occurred between 02:45am and 02:55am on 6/05/25. The offender(s) approached a semi detached property close to the junction of Dewsbury Avenue. Suspect enters driveway of property and attempts to open the front door via the handle before being disturbed by an alarm. He was described as being: MALE, SLIM BUILD, WEARING DARK COLOURED LIGHT WEIGHT PUFFER JACKET with a HOOD which was up, SNOOD / SCARF covering lower face, and a HAT ( unknown type), LIGHT GREY JOGGERS, BLACK TRAINERS, he was wearing a single glove on his right hand.

If you have any CCTV footage (including video doorbell), saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area around this time or have any information about the offenders please contact the police on the non-emergency number 101 quoting occurrence ref: 25*61325
