Between 22:00 and 22:30 hours on Monday 28th April 2025 persons were disturbed looking around a barn on a farm in the Sunk Island area.  They made off when the victim went out to them.   They were possibly in a van and left in the direction of Thorngumbald.

This is always of concern in rural communities with thieves targetting high value equipment.
