Dear Resident

 An adult male is currently in police custody after being arrested this afternoon on suspicion of theft from a motor-vehicle. This is in relation to the series of thefts from (and attempted thefts) from motor vehicles in the Freshney Green and surrounding areas. Enquiries are ongoing in relation to these investigations.

Please remember to continue to lock your vehicles and DO NOT leave any items of value within your vehicle. If you see anyone acting suspicious in your street then please call 101, or 999 if a crime is in progress.
