There has been a burglary in the area of Buttermere Crescent, Humberston. Entry was gained by the smashing of the rear Patio windows. 

This occurred between 10/3/25 13:00- 17/3/25 17:55.

Look out for your neighbour's property, if anyone appears suspicious in the area phone 101.

Don't Leave valuables on view through windows, which may tempt a thief.

Make your home appear occupied. Use timer switches to turn on lights.

Don't leave keys in locks or on display for a burglar to see and use.

Keep windows either locked shut or locked in a vented position.

Keep your house and garage door locked using quality insurance locks and consider CCTV. 

Fit a dusk to dawn constant garden light and add a motion sensor light to warn you of any intruders.

Don't leave any tools or ladders in the garden.

Don't let bushes grow large enough to hide burglars from view. 

Fix lightweight trelis and spiky planting to the top of fences to help prevent climbing.

Secure your gardens with a fence and lockable gate.
