Humberside Police has been made aware of a number of thefts of heating oil from church premises in the Bubwith/ Pocklington/ Holme on Spalding Moor area.

Please remain vigilant and report suspicious activity to the police. Above ground heating oil tanks are vulnerable and are easily accessed by criminals, please consider locking tanks, fitting alarms, CCTV and security lighting to deter criminals from stealing heating oil from tanks.
