Dangers associated with 'Frozen' Lakes/Pond/Rivers

Dear Resident,

Today I have received a report of youths who were playing on the ice on the Country Park itself, not understanding the dangers associated with it. When I attended, I have spoken to a young male and provided him with words of advice.

Could I please request all parents support and educate their child(ren) not to go on ANY frozen ponds/lakes/rivers due to all the potential dangers associated with them (ice breaking etc).
