Dear Resident, Since June 2024 the village of Hook has suffered criminal damage to some saplings and mature trees in the Mad Dog Lane area, as well as the Contemplation Garden and Memorial Field on Church Lane. Damage has also been caused to the benches within Contemplation Garden and a piece of play equipment has been damaged in the village play park. The most recent damage to a mature tree in the Contemplation Garden occurred over the weekend of the 26th-27th October 2024.
