Volunteer Police Cadet - Recruitment open until 30th of April 2024

We are now open to applications from young people aged 15 and 16 years of age who would like to join Humberside Police as a Volunteer Police Cadet. The cadets are based in 6 locations around Humberside (Hull, Goole, Beverley, Bridlington, Scunthorpe and Grimsby) and while there is no need for any formal qualifications, we do ask potential cadets to be enthusiastic, dedicated and willing to commit to two hours a week (term time only) to take part in training, learning more about the police and our partner agencies.

By being a Volunteer Police Cadet you, or a young person you know, will have a fantastic opportunity to learn new skills, develop positive relationships within their local community and be an ambassador for Humberside Police.

We recognise that young people have an important part to play in their local community and the future of the police service therefore we are committed to engaging with young people to make sure they have the opportunity to engage with Humberside Police.

If you would like more information please visit our website: www.humberside.police.uk/police-forces/humberside-police/areas/careers/join-us/police-cadets/ or contact Cadets@humberside.police.uk or 01472 721218

If you work with young people aged 15 or 16 or know someone who might be interested in learning more about what we do please share this message.
