Burglary prevention advice. Whilst continuing my work into crime prevention and problem solving, I came across an article from a reformed Residential burglar that stated one of things he used as a tool to know if a home was empty was .... BIN DAY....!!! Yes.. Bin Day!!! It is a sure sign that when bins are left out in the street when others have been taken in following them being emptied, it can be a pre-cursor for a burglar to establish the property maybe empty. Protect each other within your communities, discuss with your neighbours about helping each other out by taking in the bins from the road as soon as possible once emptied.
